In the east chancel is a wall tablet to George Augustus Henry Anne Parkyns, 1850, with a shield on the apron, draped urn on the crown. Inscription: In memory of the Right Honourable George Augustus Henry Anne Parkyns Baron Rancliffe, only son and heir of Thomas Boothby Parkyns, first baron Rancliffe and Elizabeth Anne his Wife, the Daughter and Heir of Sir William James, Baronet, Born 10th June 1785. Died 1st November 1850-. Shield: Quarterly of six: 1 and 3 Parkyns. 2 and 4, Cressy. 5, Azure on a chevron argent between three lions passant guardant or, three bombs sable, flamed proper (James of Eltham, Kent). 6, Gules a chevron vair between three crescents argent a canton or (Goddard). In fess point a badge of baronetcy. Impaling Azure three horses heads couped argent bridled gules (in place of bears heads muzzled. for Forbes). Supporters two Pegasi argent billettee ermine, wings addorsed ducally gorged and chained or. A barons coronet. Crest: Out of a ducal coronet or, a demi-eagle displayed azure billetee erminois. Motto Honeste audax.
