Hatchments over the chancel arch.
1) George Alexander Forteath 1862. Dexter background black (left a widow). Gules on a chevron or between three stags trippant proper three boars heads couped azure, on a chief or a griffin passant sable (Forteath) An esquires helmet sable visored and collared or. Mantling gules and argent, motto Tam animo quam mente sublimis.
2) Sir Thomas Parkyns 2nd Baronet 1741, wives Elizabeth nee Sampson and Jane nee Barnat. All black background. Quarterly 1 and 4 Argent an eagle displayed sable, on a canton or a fess dancetty between seven billets ermines (Parkyns). 2 and 3 Argent a lion rampant double queued (Cressy). Impaling two coats per fess: In chief, On a mount vert a windmill proper (Sampson). In base, Argent a bear salient gules (Barnat). In fess point the badge of Ulster. A knights helmet sable visored and collared or. Crest: A pineapple or. Mantling gules and argent. Motto Honeste audax. Below all these, a skull.
3) Jane Parkyns 1760. Sinister background black (died before her husband). Quarterly 1 Argent an eagle displayed sable, on a canton or a fess dancetty between eleven billets ermines (Parkyns). 2 Argent a bear sejant sable (Beresford). 3 Argent a lion rampant queue fourche sable (Cressy). 4 Gules a fess wavy and in chief three piles in point wavy argent (Isham). Inescutcheon of pretence, Parkyns. In chief point the badge of Ulster. A knights helmet sable visored and collared or. Crest: A pineapple or. Mantling Gules and Argent. Motto Honeste audax.
