House. 1887. Architect H.B.Measures, builder William Willett.
Flemish style. Red brick and terracotta detailing,
steeply-pitched hipped clay tile roof with hipped roof to
oriel and monopitch roof to dormer set against polygonal
chimney rising from eaves on centre of facade, other stacks
with moulded caps rising on returns. Plan: single-fronted. Two
storeys plus attic, 2 bays, chamfered mullions with small
upper lights of same design, 3 storey gabled bay right, second
floor window opening onto balcony of 2 storey canted bay,
oriel first floor left with leaded lights over arch-headed
opening to recessed porch, small hall light with original
leading to right, original panelled door with inset lights.
Brick and terracotta gatepiers, octagonal with ogee caps
linking low brick wall with renewed railings.
