House. 1888-1890. Architect H.B.Measures, builder William
Willett. Flemish style. Red brick, terracotta detailing, eaves
cornice with garlanded frieze, steeply pitched hipped clay
tile roof, polygonal stack rising from eaves level on centre
of facade, other stacks rising on returns. Plan:
single-fronted. Three storeys with attic, 1:1 bays, mixed
fenestration, many paned upper lights to first floor sash
windows with bottle glass, small flat roofed many paned dormer
window centre, very tall shaped gable with dragon finials
rising right with 3 windows opening on to rebuilt balcony of
2-storey canted bay, lower shaped gable to left carried on
full height pilasters, recessed centre and arched-head window
with many panes, 2 windows below in first floor above
pedimented pilaster porch with 2-bay unlit opening over
segmental-headed entrance, panelled door on right return.
