Wool barn, now partly stores and offices. Late C18 with later
alterations. Red brick in English Garden Wall variant bond.
Plain tile roof, hipped to right on W side and fully on E
side, with brick dentilled eaves.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. West elevation (facing yard): on 1st
floor, round-arched part-glazed double doors and inserted
casement window; above is a small segmental-arched boarded
opening with sill; ground floor has inserted plate-glazed
shopfront on right with further C20 door right again and
remodelled wagon-entrance with timber lintel.
E elevation (rear): on 1st floor, 5 openings with blue and red
brick segmental arches, that on left with C20 inserted door,
the next with a C20 window, the rest boarded up; above are 3
similar, smaller, boarded-up openings; on ground floor to left
of centre a doorway with blue and red brick round arch, to
right of centre a partly-remodelled wagon-entrance with
blue-brick lintel course, and between these an inserted
entrance with plank double-door; single-storey additions at
each end.
