House; now shop, store and offices. Early C19 with later
alterations. Brick with stucco render. Concrete-tile roof with
brick dogtooth eaves and external brick stack on right.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 3-window range. First floor has canted
bay window on right with leaded dentilled cornice and
1/1:2/2:1/1 plate glass sashes; to left, two 2/2 sashes with
channelled voussoirs, keystones and sill-band. On 2nd floor,
two 2/2 boxed sashes with projecting sills and, on right, a
4/8 boxed sash. Ground floor: shopfront has plate-glazed
bay-windows, that on left canted and with decorative mullions
and arched tracery, both with deep moulded sills and
part-panelled sides; central recessed doorcase, remodelled;
fascia and enriched cornice, with one cast-iron bracket;
painted plinth.
