House. C17 with c1878 addition and C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted brick and plastered infill; thatched
roof with brick end stack and lower additional tile roof.
2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic; 3-window range. Unit to
left has end wall studs and braces to plastered wall; C20
gabled porch with small-panel light to right; eyebrow dormer
has 2-light casement. Unit to right has storey-height panels
with rails and brick extension to end; 2 small lights; C20
gabled dormer and window to end have C20 2-light small-paned
casements. Rear similar; end with 1878 datestone.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Probably originally a squatter's cottage on the edge of the
village, as Jasmine Cottage (qv).
