House, formerly house and attached outbuilding. Late C18, with
C20 alterations. Coursed rubble Coal Measures Sandstone with
ashlar dressings, quoins, gables, and brick gable stacks.
Stone slate roof. South elevation: stepped range, the house
part two-storeyed and of 2 bays, with the single-storey former
outbuilding attached at the east end. House part with centre
doorway with massive quoined surround and a deep lintel and
plank C20 door. Flanking the doorway are stepped 2-light
flush-mullioned windows, with C20 2-pane casements and fixed
lights. Former outbuilding with single doorway beneath a plain
lintel at the junction of the two ranges. Rear elevation to
housepart beneath catslide roof, now rendered, as is west
gable.
