Circa 1830/40 villa. Two storeys, stucco faced. Low pitch hipped slate
roof with wide eaves. Three windows, narrow one in centre, recessed,
sash, later glazing bars, architrave surrounds, block sills. The
ground floor has only one surviving window, to the East as above. A
brick bay has been added to the rest at a later date and a screen wall
of render brick with string and coping, with a side door, runs from
the bay to the West party wall. A narrow two storey single window wing
has also been added to the West. North garden front to Bellevue Road
has three windows, two in bow to East through both storeys, recessed,
sash, glazing bars intact, architrave surrounds, block sills. Ground
floor of bow has French windows with marginal glazing bars, later
French window ground floor West. The wing has sash window with glazing
bars first floor, French window ground floor. This house was also used by
Queen Victoria's retinue during an early visit to the Island.
Nos 25 to 28 (consec) with No 1 Trinity Street form a group.
