C18, 2-storey, 2-window brick front, with stone cornice and parapet, to
older house of late C16 or early C17. High pitched, double-span tiled
roof. 2 sash windows with glazing bars on lst floor. Simple, modern shop
front on ground floor. Long, gabled, rear extension of late C17 appearance,
with tall, 2-shaft brick chimney. Plaque with inscription: "Old White
Hart 1590". Inside many exposed beams and a stone fireplace with Tudor
arch.
No 12, Nos 16 to 28 (even) and No 28A form a group.
