Monument of various coloured marbles: ringed columns with stiff leaf capitals supporting a cinquefoil headed arch and a pediment surmounted by acanthus leaves. Brass plaque to Emma, daughter of Vere Fane Esq. of Little Ponton Lincs. She d. 14th Dec 1847 aet 24, the wife of Westley Richards of Ashwell d. 26th May 1897 aet 82. The Arms are; Argent a chevron azure in base a lion rampant of the last (Richards), impaled with Azure three dexter gauntlets, backs affrontee or (Fane). (Photo Sept 2013).
