Memorial to Col. FG Blair of Blair, d. 2 Oct 1973 aet 90 and his wife Mary daughter of W Baird of Elie d. 23rd Oct 1943 aet 85. The Arms are: Quarterly, 1 and 4 Argent on a saltire sable nine mascles of the first (Blair); 2 and 3, Or, on a bend azure a mullet between two crescents of the field, in base an arrow bendways proper feathered, headed, and barbed argent (intended for Scott of Malleny co. Edinburgh, who inherited via a Blair heiress). Sadly no room for Baird of Elie (Per pale gules and or, a boar passant counterchanged). (Photo Sept 2013).
