Marble on slate monument with urn. In the vault beneath are deposited thre remains of Barbara, Wife of the Reverend James Ord of Langton hall and fourth daughter of Charles Brandling of Gosforth House in the County of Northumberland,Esquire. She departed this life on the 1st of January Anno Domini 1836 in the 74th Year of her Age. To the revered memory of one who spent her life as far as our imperfent condidtion will permit in the conscientious discharge of her duty to her God her family and her fellow creatures.
