Low relief plaster bust. The Rev William Hanbury AM Rector of Church Langton Obiit 1st March 1778. Behind him are four books: the top The Holy Bible. At bottom Compleate Body of Gardening. The plaques to either side: I will not suffer mine eyes to sleep, neither the temples of my head to take any rest until I find out a place for the temple of the Lord. Psalm 132.4.5. and : Thou, O Lord, heard my desires: and thou hast given an heritage unto those that fear thy name- Psalm 61.5. (Photo Jul 2015).
