Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey gate lodge; originally
ball-finials) with stop-chamfered angles; central carriageway
L-plan with 2-bay elevations; single bay wing added mid 20th
flanked by pedestrian gates; curved low, rubble-built and
century (porch also added then). Stugged and snecked grey
ashlar-coped quadrant walls linked to terminal piers;
ashlar with polished dressings; hood-moulded openings with
wrought-iron gates and railings.
