Earlier/mid 18th century. 3-storey, 3-bay house, additional
wide full-height bay added to E in 19th century. Rendered
with painted ashlar margins. S elevation: original house:
central panelled door in architrave with pulvinated frieze
and cornice (1st floor window above similarly treated),
masked by 19th century Roman Doric - columned and pedimented
red ashlar porch; small paned sash windows; additional bay is
similar, but has doorway to canted projection; eaves cornice;
corniced stacks;
Slated roof, piended at right (straight skews to W gable with
shaped skewputts): apex ventilator. Low outbuildings adjoin E
wall; N (rear) elevation pebble-dashed, advanced gable left;
inner bay of original house projects. Interior: panelled
doors in architraves; moulded ceiling cornices; some
chimneypieces.
