Early C16 house altered in C17, with C20 extension. Timber framed, plastered,
roof tiled. 4 bays aligned approximately E-W, with ground floor room of 2
bays in the middle, brick chimney stack at E end of it. C20 extension to
rear of W end. 2 storeys. 5-window range of C20 casements. C20 porch,
hipped and tiled. Roof half-hipped at both ends. Roof originally of
crownpost construction, converted to clasped purlin in C17. Jowled storey
posts. Stop-chamfered beams. RCHM 10
