SE of Barnston House,
GV II
Barn, c.1600. Timber framed, weatherboarded with some cement render on NE end,
roof of corrugated iron. 5 bays with 2 midstreys to SE, originally aisled on
NW side only but now infilled below arcade plate. Large doors inserted in SW
end. Jowled posts, cambered tiebeams with arched braces to them. Roof rebuilt
to a lower pitch than original.
