House, C17 or older. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded, thatched
roof half-hipped both ends. 3 bays, single storey with attics, axial
chimney in middle bay. 3 C19 cast iron casements on ground floor with C20
porch, 2 C20 wooden casements in eyebrow dormers above. This house is
accessible only via a green lane, 250 metres from the nearest building and
350 metres from a hard-surfaced road, and may be expected to have escaped
recent modernisation. Internal access refused, January 1983.
