C1900-1910. Large house in the Voysey manner, using traditional forms/materials
in Art Nouveau style. 2 storeys with attic, the road elevation is asymmetrical.
Steep tile roof with a large and small gable, a gabled dormer, hipped at one
end, the other being gabled with a projecting bold chimney stack. Tile hanging.
Red brick walling, with some patterned work to link a pair of windows. Casements
in exposed frames, the large staircase) light having a mullion/transom design,
square leaded lights. Porch has a simple doorway but an elaborate roof
form, half-hip/half-gable. Forecourt descends in terraces to a front wall,
broken by piers.
A fine period piece, richly contrived and intact.
