Railway warehouse, circa 1861 for the coastward extention of the Stockton and
Darlington Railway; now in commercial use.
Red brick with dressings of sandstone and yellow brick; Welsh slate roof. 1
tall storey, 12 bays. Blank-arcaded walls with gauged-brick arches and stone
impost bands. Brick eaves band below moulded stone cornice. Low-pitched
hipped roof. 2 bays west return has wagon entrances, one blocked.
