Row of 3 houses originally 4 houses. Probably C18, remodelled circa late C19.
Painted rubble walls with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roofs with brick
chimneys over the gable ends and over the cross party walls.
Plan: originally a row of 4 single depth houses, the middle 2 each with 1 ground
floor room and entrance lobby to 1 side and the 2 end houses each with 2 rooms and
lobby with stair between. The left hand house (no 1) has an integral outshut behind
the left hand room, probably a pantry. The plan of the 2 right hand houses has been
remodelled in the C20 to make 1 house. Built on bedrock at rear.
Exterior : 2 storeys. Overall regular 7 window south front. C20 doors, 4-pane
horned sashes, slightly projecting eaves and kneeler stones carrying the coped left
hand gable end. Doorway of Nos 1 and 2 in original positions, doorway of No 3
resited and eaves of right hand part heightened circa early C20.
