House. Late C17 with late C18 and mid C19 additions. C17 section sandstone
rubble with roughly-dressed quoins to right; additions dressed sandstone with
quoins. Continuous pantiled roof with double row of sandstone flags at eaves;
brick and stone stacks. 2-storey, 5-bay front of two builds: 3-bay C17 section
to right and 2-bay late C18 section to left. Square-headed doorway (possibly
repositioned), in second bay from left, has C20 door, restored hoodmould,
chamfered jambs and lintel with date 16??. Two 2-light windows and one 3-light-
window, to right of door, have renewed flat mullions and extended sills and
lintels. Blocked doorway, to left of-door, has lintel dated MDCCLXXI; Cl9
3-light window with leaded casements to left. First floor has two C19 3-light
windows to left; two 2-light, flat-mullioned windows and one similar 3-light
window to right. Roof has flat-coped gables and shaped kneelers; right gable
has C19 corniced stone stack, rebuilt left gable and ridge stacks of brick.
Right return has two blocked windows in gable. C17 doorway to rear, partly.
hidden by C19 addition, has chamfered jambs.

Rebuilt single-storey addition to right not of special interest.
