Farmhouse. C17, C19 rear wing. Rendered gritstone except wing which
is coursed punched wallstone. Stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 windows
to first floor. Entrance in single-storey wing to rear. All windows
renewed with C20 stone mullions, slightly splayed and with projecting
surrounds. Mostly 3-light. Moulded kneelers and gable copings. 2 axial
stacks in punched wallstone. Rear: Original doorway within rear wing
has large gritstone quoins, arched lintel and chamfered opening. Interior
retains one end ofta bressumer beam with arched door head and in the chamber
above a morticed collar indicates the position of a former smoke hood.
