Farmhouse. Datestone 1615 extended C19. Slatestone rubble, painted to rear, asbestos
slate roof with brick chimneys over gable ends of C19 part and stone external stack
with tapered top to gable end of C17 part. Double depth 2-room C19 block under double
span roof with one end of C17 house surviving to north end of rear. 2 storeys.
South-east 3 window C19 front has stone porch with gable roof off centre to right.
Panelled door within, glazed above lock rail. Small 12-pane sash over to left.
Hornless 20-pane sash to ground floor left and 6-pane sash over. Rear has irregularly
spaced openings mostly with sashes and hipped roof porch. Interior is of C19 date.
Trelagossick was home of well-known C17 dramatist, actor and humorist, Samuel Foote.
