Large house, now flats. 1885. Rock faced coursed limestone with
Bath stone dressings. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 4 bays.
Left bay gabled and broken forward. Second bay with steeply gabled
porch with finals and round headed door with carved head surmounted
by crest. 2 steps between wing walls. First floor corbelled stack
to bay 3 and bay 4 has canted ground floor bay window. All windows
stone-mullioned and transomed. 3 gabled dormers. Ashlar cornice
and mid wall bands, and ashlar stacks also with cornices. Rear
elevation similar but with elaborately carved doorhead in bay 3,
and bay 4 projecting. West corner carried up as tall 3-storey
tower with pedimented windows on 3rd floor, cornice and shaped
gables containing keyed oculi. Main house is continued to north-
west with 2-storey rock faced service building and dwelling with
tiled roof.
