3/245 Stables to Marston Hill House
and courtyard walls

II

Stables and carriage house, now flats. c1885. Rock faced coursed
limestone with tiled roof. 1-storey and attic to central block
with 1-storey wings forming courtyard to front, enclosed by front
wall and gates. Main block symmetrical, of 5 bays, the centre
broken forward and gabled and with pair of ground floor doors under
a basket arch. Wind vane on gable. Stone-mullioned windows and 2
gabled dormers. Wings similar but right wing with 2 open carriage
bays.
