5/53 Shelter barn to the south-east
of Surrendell Farmhouse

Shelter barn. Probably C17 with early C19 rear extension. Coursed
rubble with dressed stone to entrance jambs and gabled stone slate
roof, half-hipped at ends. Wooden lintel to entrance.
Interior. C17 section has original collar and tie-beam roof
structure. Included for group value.
