Farmhouse. C17; C18 and C19 rear wings. Rendered stone with ashlar
dressings and quoins with rubble stone to later additions, stone slate
roof and stone stacks; C19 brick to upper section of principal stack.
C18 and C19 rear wings of coursed limestone rubble with stone slate
roof and stone stack. C17 house of 2 rooms flanking central lobby
entry, shorter early C19 wing added to left of front; C18/19 rear
wings. Symmetrical C17 front elevation of 2 storeys with attic windows
in 2 gables, 3-window range. Label moulds over ovolo-moulded stone-
mullioned window with leaded lights in iron frames, all much restored.
Mid C20 porch with arched doorway. Similar windows to other elevations
and early C19 wing. Rear wings have wood casements with leaded lights
and mid C20 addition with Roman tile roof. Interior of C17 house noted
as having double butt-purlin roof with collars extended to form ridge
pieces to gable, beams, C17 and C18 doors and mid C18 staircase with
column-on-vase balusters. Early C19 wing has blank and batten framed
partition and reused C17 oak panelling.
