One building, probably 4 houses, now 4 shops. Late C18/early
C19. Roughcast, probably over limestone rubble; slate roof
with crested ridge; stepped stone copings to gable ends; brick
stacks to centre ridge and gable ends. Double-depth plan. 2
storeys; 4-window range. 2 shops to the right under one name
with C20 shopfronts; first floor has 2 off-centre 3-light
casements set toward stack ends. The far left bay,
incorporated into adjoining shop (No.46), has C20 windows.
Left-of-centre shop has C20 shopfront with 2-light first-floor
casement to right. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group
value.
