GV II

House, originally C18, bombed and totally destroyed by enemy
action in 1942 and rebuilt in replica 1948. Red brick. Roof of
black-glazed pantiles. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Panelled
door to left within reeded doorcase. Two 6/6 horned sashes to
right under gauged skewback arches, and 3 similar to each
floor above. The first-floor sashes have a continuous
cast-iron balcony and the second floor ones have 3 separate
window balconies. Modillion eaves cornice and a gabled roof.
Extended to rear 1988. Included for group value.
