-21-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Small slate with round-faced winged angel, to: Elizabeth Cross d. May 29th 1748 aet 35. Poem: –Its much lamented amongst us all/ So rair a plant so soon should fall/ For all the cuntrey tis their cry /O pitty she so soon should die /In days of ……h… served…be../(…)/-. (Photo sept 2012).
