Farmhouse. Early C17 core; south front altered and east wing
added in the 1820s (WW/182- datestone on north wall). Coursed
rubble with ashlar dressings, render to south front and stone slate
roofs with ashlar stacks. T-shaped plan with C17 tower-like
section to south-west corner, former C17 service range to the north
and 1820s block with double span roof to the east. South front
covering south wall of original C17 section and extending along
1820s block: 2 storeys, 3 windows. Venetian windows to ground
floor and 12-pane sashes to upper. Central doorway with Tuscan
columns, open pediment, semi-circular fanlight and 6-panel door.
Coved cornice and blocking course parapet developing into central
pediment. North end wall of C17 block has two 3-light hollow-
mould mullions and one single light to attic. Former service
range has some double Roman tiling to north-west roof and C19
casement fenestration to east front.
Interior. Huge inglenook fireplace to ground floor left-hand room
in C17 block; 1820s staircase, doorcases and C17 wooden screen to
head of winder staircase in attic.
