Detached house. c.1835, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond,
slate roof. Rectangular double-depth double-fronted plan.
Georgian style. Two storeys with basement and attic, 3
windows, symmetrical; stucco plinth; central doorway (up
steps) with Ionic pilaster doorcase, 6-panel door and
rectangular overlight; 12-pane sashed windows with flat-arched
heads, and 2 added flat-roofed dormers in the roof. Right-hand
return wall has (inter alia) a pedimented gable containing a
window with pedimented architrave. Rear has (inter alia) a
round-headed stairwindow with early C20 stained glass. Forms
group with No.68 to the left, which is similar.
