8/130 The Old Manor House
II

Detached house. Late C18, possibly on older core, with rear wing
probably of C19, and small C20 extension to right. Random coursed
rubble stone, hipped stone slate roof, stone ridge stacks with
moulded cornice. L-shape range of 2 storeys and attic with rear
extension to left of 2 storeys with parapet wall. Three windows,
one to left hand projecting wing and 2 to main section. Each
window bay with full dormer with paired leaded casement under
straight head with rounded corners. On first floor each bay has
paired arched lights under cambered head and hoodmould, and ground
floor has one similar in centre, with door of 6 fielded panels
immediately left in angle with cambered head and raking porch hood.
To left and right, slightly projecting square bay with raking roof
and 3 Tudor arched lights, full height. One similar 2-light on
left hand return. Rear wing has late C19/early C20 glazing bar
wood mullion and transoms. Interior not accessible but may be of
interest.
