Row of 5 estate worker's cottages. Early C19 entirely refenestrated in a
grander style early-mid C20. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys.
16 first-floor windows. Each has 3 bays with central doorway which has
architrave, consoles and hood, Nos 60 and 62 having triangular pediments.
Tripartite sash windows above doors. Flanking bays each have 12-pane sash in
flush-wood surround with smaller 9-pane sash above. Stone lintels and sills.
Paired gutter brackets. 3 square ridge stacks. Left-hand return has sash window
to each floor and the only original feature surviving: a blind oculus to apex
of gable.
