House. First quarter C19, possibly to designs by John Carr. Hammer-dressed
stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 5-bay symmetrical facade. Doorway with
overlight is flanked by small lower sashed windows. Other bays have a sash
window to each floor formerly of 24 panes, now only the top lights have small-pane
glazing the lower ones being of 2 large panes. All lintels are monolithic and
cut with false voussoirs. Gable stacks.
