attached barn.

House and attached barn. Late C17 with separate mid-C18 barn now
linked to house by mid-C19 extension. Coursed rubble, hammer-dressed
stone to extension, 3 stone-slate roofs with different roof lines.
Forms a long range with barn to left. 2 storeys. Earliest house, 2-cell
plan, retains one bay of double-chamfered mullioned windows,4-light window
with 3-light above. Coped gable to right. Tall well dressed central
stack to ridge. Attached to left, with higher roof, C19 extension has
2 bays: doorway with monolithic jambs and large square 4-paned sashed
window to ground floor; 2 smaller 2-paned sashed windows to 1st floor.
Gutter brackets. Coped gables with stack to right gable. Attached to
left is barn with lower roof. This has segmental-arched cart entry
formed by 2 cantilevered stones with joggled keystone, quoined angle to
inner porch. Coped gable to left with kneelers.
Interior: Barn has fish-bone king-post roof.
