Pair of Shuttleworth estate cottages. Early C19, probably encasing an earlier
building. Timber framed construction with colourwashed roughcast render.
Clay tile roof. 2-room plan, 2 storeys and attics. Ground floor has 2 3-
light casements with leaded lights, first floor has 2 3-light casements with
glazing bars. 2 plank doors. Central multiple ridge stack of gault back,
with linked flues and moulded cornice. Later gault brick block to rear.
