GV II

House, now shop and flat. Late C18 with C19 shop and C20
alterations. Irregular courses of squared stone with quoins
and painted ashlar dressings; roof of concrete tiles with
stone gable coping and brick chimney. 2 storeys; 2-window
range. Half-glazed door at left under wood lintel. Shop front
at right with slender partly-fluted pilasters and central
recessed door; 2-light left window, full-width fascia flanked
by carved brackets. Plain stone surround to renewed square
windows, at centre left on ground floor and above that and
above shop on first floor. Roof has right gable coping on
moulded kneeler, and end chimneys of thin dark bricks.
