House, later shop now restaurant, and flat. Mid C18 house with
late C19 shop. Rubble with ashlar quoins and painted ashlar
drssings; roof of stone slates with stone gable copings and
brick chimneys. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Steps up to 2-panel
door and 2-pane overlight in painted stone surround to right
of centre. C19 shop front to left has step up to central
recessed half-glazed door and overlight, with arcaded front to
door and windows: panelled pilasters and elliptical heads to 2
left and single right plate-glass lights. Full-width renewed
fascia between fruit-carved end brackets obscures original
shop fascia and cornice. 4-pane sashes in painted surrounds to
right of door and on upper floors, smaller on top floor. Roof
hipped at right, with renewed brick ridge chimneys. Right
return has plain stone surround to yard door at right, and
4-pane sash on each floor at left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
