House, now shop and flat. Late C18 with late C19 shop. Coursed
squared stone with painted ashlar dressings; roof of stone
slates with stone gable coping and stone and brick chimneys. 3
storeys; one-window range. 6-panel passage door and 3-pane
overlight at right in painted tooled stone surround.
Projecting shop front has central recessed glazed door,
slender mullions with Ionic capitals; corniced sloping fascia.
First-floor canted bay window rests on shop projection and has
plain sashes with angle pilasters and prominent cornice. Plain
stone surronds to 2 second-floor sashes. Roof has left gable
coping on moulded kneeler, and end chimneys, stone at left and
brick at right. At left, urn-shaped rainwater head on lugged
pipe. INTERIOR: not inspected.
