Terrace of 4 houses. Early C19, altered C20. Sandstone ashlar
in large blocks with punched tooling, and with slate roofs.
Double-depth plan. Designed as 2 pairs each having linked
central doorways, centrally-placed rear extensions, and gable
chimney stacks. 3 storeys above cellars, with a cornice, and a
first-floor sill band. 3 bays per pair, with a blind central
bay above the doorways. All the openings have plain reveals.
The doorways have cornices carried on 3 plain consoles, and
overlights, the door to No.10 has raised panels with
re-entrant corners. The windows of No.4 appear to be original,
with sashes of 12 or 9 panes, those in No.10 are late C20
copies, those in No.6 are late C20 12- or 9-pane sashes and
No.8 has late C20 top-hung casements.
