Barn, now used as general store. C17 with C18 refurbishment.
Timber-framed, weatherboarded, C18 brickwork with timber
bearers under sills, peg-tiled roof. L shaped plan of range
plus cross-wing with small additional lean-to at SE end.
Principal, NW front elevation (towards farm-yard): main range
to SW with half hipped roof, flush cross-wing gable to NE with
brick footings rising to higher level. SW-NW, C20 4-panel
house door inserted, infilled earlier opening now with C20
3-light casement, high boarded loading door with owl hole,
divided `stable' door, high C20 replacement 2-leaf waggon door
under NE gable, boarded loading door above within gable. Rear,
SE elevation: cross-wing projects at NE end with half hipped
roof. Small weatherboarded lean-to at W end with corrugated
asbestos cement roof. NE end elevation: side of cross-wing,
high brick plinth across face, roof gabled to front, half
hipped to rear. SW end elevation: high brick plinth with
timber bearers, half hipped gable end, high boarded loading
door.
INTERIOR: primary braced studding, side purlin roof, slender
members. Junction of SW range and cross-wing has stud mortices
and wattle groove defining site of former partition.
