A series of stained glass shields in the east window, showing alliances of the Duke of Buckingham and the Villiers family in the seventeenth century. 1) Earls coronet and Argent on a fess azure three lozenges or (William Fielding, Earl of Denbigh) impaling Argent, on a cross gules, five escallops or (Lady Susan Villiers the dukes sister). 2) Ducal coronet and Villiers (George Villiers Duke of Buckingham), impaling Or, two bars azure; a chief quarterly of the second and gules, the first charged with two fleurs de lis of the first and the last a lion passant guardant or (Lady Catharine Manners his Duchess, daughter of the Earl of Rutland). 3) Earls coronet and Azure, seme de lis, a lion rampant or (Beaumont). Mary, Countess of Buckingham, the dukes mother. 4) Viscounts coronet and Villiers, (John, Lord Viscount Purbeck, elder brother of the Duke). 5) Earls coronet and Villiers (Christopher, Earl of Anglesey, the dukes younger brother) impaling Sable, a fess argent between three sheldrakes proper (Anne Sheldon of Hoby). 6) Villiers (John Villiers of Brooksby, 4x ancestor) impaling Gules an eagle displayed argent (Elizabeth Southill of Everingham). 7) Villiers (Sir Edward Villiers, the dukes stepbrother) impaling Argent on a chief gules two mullets pierced or (Barbara St John). 8) Villiers, an escutcheon of baronetcy, (Sir William Villiers of Brooksby baronet, dukes step brother) impaling sable, an eagle close or (Rebecca Roper, third wife. 9) Villiers (Sir George Villiers of Brooksby and Hoby, the dukes father) impaling Per chevron argent and sable, three elephants heads erased counterchanged (Audrey Saunders, first wife). 10) Villiers (William Villiers of Brooksby and Hoby, the dukes grandfather (2x ancestor)) impaling, Argent, on a bend gules between three pellets, three swans argent (Collette Clarke). 11) Sir John Villiers of Brooksby and Hoby (3x ancestor) impaling Azure a fleur de lis argent (Agnes Digby of Coleshill). 12) Argent two bars and in chief three mullets gules (Sir William Washington) impaling Villiers (Anne Villiers, dukes step sister).
