The inscription is in Latin and mentions his wives, first Elizabeth, daughter of Sir John Lewis 1st baronet and second, Frances daughter of Francis Levison Fowler esq. Shield at the top, with 20 quarterings: 1) Hastings. 2) Plantagenet, Duke of Clarence. 3) Pole. 4) Nevill. 5) Nevill. 6) Montacute. 7. Monthermer. 8) Azure semee de lis a lion rampant guardant argent (Holland). 9) Plantagenet, Edmund Earl of Kent. 10) Beauchamp. 11) Lozengy ermine and gules a bordure (?azure bezantee) (Fitzwilliam). 12) Spencer. 13) Clare. 14) Hungerford. 15) Botreaux. 16) Moels. 17) Sable on a chief argent three lozenges gules (Molynes). 18) Argent five lozenges conjoined in fess gules (Newmarch). 19) Argent on a bend azure three stags heads cabossed or (Stanley) 20) Azure two lions passant in pale or (Somery alias Dudley).
