Wesleyan chapel, now Methodist Church. Datestone 1812 in tympanum. Front of
Flemish bond brick with flared headers; gabled Welsh slate roof. Pedimented
front of 2-storey, 3-window range. Gabled C20 porch. Gauged brick round arches
over panelled double-leaf door with Gothick fanlight and C20 casements. Stone
string course and moulded cornice; wrought-iron antefixae surmount pediment.
Round arch over similar sash windows in each side wall. Interior: early C19 wall
tablet, pews and pulpit. Winder stairs with stick balusters and wreathed
handrail to balcony supported on cast-iron columns: balcony has early C19
benches and late C19 organ. Blind triple arcade of pointed chamfered arches has
late C19 four-panelled doors to rear hall.
