Public House. Late C18: late C17/early C18 rear wing. Roughcast; gabled old tile
roof, C20 tiles to left; brick right end external stack and rear lateral stacks.
T-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Mid/late C19 porch;
half-glazed door with overlight. Paired 6-pane sashes to left and 6-pane sash to
right flanking C20 door with overlight. Similar first-floor sashes; moulded
cornice. Late 17/early C18 rear wing of 2-storey, 2-bay range: chalk rubble
with brick dressings, and late C19 brick to left; gabled old tile roof with
brick rear external stack; 3-light leaded casement to right. Interior: first
floor has C18 two-panelled doors. Rear wing has chamfered beam roof not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
