Two cottages. Early/mid C17, extended in mid C18 and remodelled c.1870.
Originally timber-framed. Mid C19 Flemish bond red brick front; gabled old tile
roof; brick ridge stack and mid C19 internal stack to left. 3-unit plan. 2
storeys; 3-window range. Wedged stone lintels over 6-panelled doors, 8-pane
sashes to right and C20 casements. Mid C18 two-storey wing to rear left: English
bond brick, with gabled old tile roof and brick end stack. Interior:
ogee-stopped chamfered beams, arch-braced wall plates and tie beams, queen-post
roof. No.12 to left has cased and chamfered beams and early C19 dog-leg stairs
with stick balusters: first floor not inspected but likely to be of interest.
