House. C17, with mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick
and rendered infill on rubble base, painted brick replacement walling
and plain tiled roofs with brick stack to south-east of main roof. Three
framed bays aligned roughly east/west with external rendered rubble chimney
and brick stack to north of central bay. An original wing, slightly lower
in height adjoins to the south at the junction of the west and central bays.
Two storeys. Framing: four panels from sill to wall-plate. Collar and tie-
beam trusses with struts. The east end truss is a C20 replacement. South
front elevation: windows are all C20 leaded casements. Main range has a 2-
light and a 3-light window on both storeys to the east of the wing. Between
the two ground floor windows is the main entrance which has a C20 half-
glazed gabled timber porch with scalloped bargeboards and a C20 door. The
gable end of the wing has a 3-light ground floor window and a 2-light first
floor window. Interior retains its large fireplace.
